London day 10
The below photos are an inverse account of the my day. Lars and I went to the Tate Modern walked around, saw a Francis Alys exhibition which was really quite good, had wonderful tapas for lunch, caught a boat to the Tate Britain saw the Henry Moore exhibition and went home. A very pleasant day and now I am watching Doctor Who, which is just great.

London day 9
I just spent ages trying to find zucchinis went to three supermarkets (going home after no. 2 as I couldn't find another so I searched them, called up all of them within walking distance and eventually visited no. 3 as they looked reasonably large and would not answer their phone) and when I asked staff if they had zucchini they asked me to repeat it and eventually would take me to their vegetables and say "this is all we have".
At store three, after having this conversation for the third time I discovered that they call them courgette and have never heard of a zucchini. Ha

The beach
Proof that I went swimming (no waves, only really kids in the water, I was the only one out past shoulder depth)
Hove. There were a group of old people having a picnic on their wheel chairs and walkers outside of one of their little house things.
My watch has stopped! Pretty disappointed, though it took me like 2 hours to realise the time wasn't changing.
Stumbled upon this by change. The fellow on the left was very good.

London day 6
I just realised that I think I missed a day somewhere... Oh well, it does not matter except for referencing purposes.
Today I went and saw Wicked. Apparently it is coming to Brisbane some time in the not too distant future.

London day 4 & 5
Not many photos taken here, went to the IMAX and saw Inception and if I get my act together, I'll go to the theatre and maybe the Proms tonight.

London day 3
So, this was now two days ago, but I was tired and went to Oxford, however, it was a rather eventful day so I shall write about it.
For starters, it was approximately one million degrees, and I went to Hyde Park corner and there's an Australian war memorial which is cool. Then I walked through Hyde Park, along the Serpentine (which people were swimming in which I find excessively vile) anyway, went to the Gallery there, then to the Royal Albert statue and walked around the Royal Albert Hall and to the Science Museum which was full of children, ha.
Then I went to Buckingham Palace which is cool, I rather enjoy the statue/fountain in front more so than the palace itself, and walked down the mall to Trafalgar Square and went to the National Gallery which I rather love.
After that I ended up at Harrods quite by mistake, but I was feeling a little overwhelmed by the masses and so just walked though their food hall which was amazing, bought some fudge and left.
The rest of the day was mostly me wondering around trying to find Leicester Square, but I ended up going to Big Ben, Westminister Abbey, Bloomsbury Square, Russel Square, Covent Gardens + Covent Garden markets, Regents Park (which I enjoy more than Hyde Park), walked down Euston Road (Monopoly) and Park Lane before catching a bus home.
Here are some photos, they are in the opposite to correct order, but I cannot be bothered to fix it, sorry.

London day 2
Today was extra day, good, but lots of waiting around, so got to traipse around the West End, a bit, especially Soho. Went to Leicester Square and Trafalgar Square and the British Museum which is the most amazing place. The weather is wonderful. Here's a couple of photos for now. I'll put up more later perhaps.

London so far
Well, I have been here for 20 hours and I am amazed by the number of rabbits, the fact that there are foxes in suburbia and I saw my first squirrel. Other than that the buildings are lovely. Paul is wonderful and I am tired, so I will endeavour to write more tomorrow or the next day.
So, as it is, I started this at twelve, fell asleep waiting for the photos to upload, woke at three and realised the computer was still on my lap and the lights on and now it is half past eight and I just realised I missed Jess on Skype which is highly disappointing, but hopefully I shall talk to her + family soon. Anyway, I am rambling now.
And here, is a blurry picture of me as I couldn't get the camera to focus (I am now thinking that was most likely a result of me standing really close in front of it when pressing the button, oh well). This is down the road from Paul's.
Oh, and there is a Grosvenor Park, Grosvenor Terrace, Campbelwell Rd, Campbellwell New Rd, Kenington Park place and Kenington Park Road and they are all next to each other and feed into each other. ha.
