Well, I have been here for 20 hours and I am amazed by the number of rabbits, the fact that there are foxes in suburbia and I saw my first squirrel. Other than that the buildings are lovely. Paul is wonderful and I am tired, so I will endeavour to write more tomorrow or the next day.
So, as it is, I started this at twelve, fell asleep waiting for the photos to upload, woke at three and realised the computer was still on my lap and the lights on and now it is half past eight and I just realised I missed Jess on Skype which is highly disappointing, but hopefully I shall talk to her + family soon. Anyway, I am rambling now.
And here, is a blurry picture of me as I couldn't get the camera to focus (I am now thinking that was most likely a result of me standing really close in front of it when pressing the button, oh well). This is down the road from Paul's.
Oh, and there is a Grosvenor Park, Grosvenor Terrace, Campbelwell Rd, Campbellwell New Rd, Kenington Park place and Kenington Park Road and they are all next to each other and feed into each other. ha.
You are making us miss Paul's and Lars's home very badly. I remember getting to London after Rome and Paris and feeling very much "Ah Home!"
ReplyDeleteAnd when you get very much older (yes Paul, my age) and look back on this you will understand why I am noting the enthusiasm of youth - it is a great thing.
